NEW YORK (AP) — Social media influencer Kai Cenat is facing charges of inciting a riot and promoting an unlawful gathering in New York City, after the online streamer drew thousands of his followers, many of them teenagers, with promises of giving away electronics, including a new PlayStation. The accident involving the King Sto. (AP) — The Kansas bar where nine people were wounded by gunfire last month has permanently closed.An attorney for City Nightz told the Wichita Eagle that the club owner felt he had no choice but to close because of all the negative publicity and because police blaming the bar for the shooting.“The city has basically made it so burdensome to stay open, they can’t stay open,” attorney Charley O’Hara said. “He feels like he was singled out and blamed for a lot of things that happen all over the city and they don’t blame other people.” The city suspended City Nightz’s liquor license for 30 days after the shooting, and the year-old club never reopened.Nine people were shot July 2 and two others trampled in the chaos afterward. Boy, 14, found shot in head in East Garfield Park

CHICGAO -- Officers responded to an alert of a 14-year-old boy shot in the head. Police said the boy was found in the 2700 block of West Van Buren Avenue around 5:53 a.m. with two gunshot wounds to the head.He was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. There is currently no one in custody and police are investigating the incident. AFD investigating abandoned building fire in east Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Fire investigators are determining the cause of a fire in an abandoned building in east Austin. AFD said it was responding to a structure fire in the 3100 block of Manor Road around 9:30 a.m. Saturday. A fire was reported in the attic. Soon after, AFD said the fire was under control, and investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. No other information was available at the time. Around the same time, Austin firefighters were also responding to multiple fires in southwest Austin early Saturday. Small fires along Southwest Parkway merged into one brush fire. The fire was under control as of 9:39 a.m.
